Event #14 saw another Full Tilt show of force. Two of the site’s pros made it to the final table. Erik Seidel who was looking for his 9th bracelet, and David Oppenheim were eventually eliminated in 5th and 7th places respectively. Oppenheim earned $60k, while Seidel took home a little over $90k.
If Full Tilt’s crew came close to a bracelet in the above mentioned event, they couldn’t be stopped in event #18, the $5k NL 2-7 Draw with rebuys one. The final table featured three Full Tilt professionals. David Benyamine, Erick Lindgren and Mike Matusow all fought valiantly, but in the end there could only be one, and that one turned out to be none other then ‘The Mouth’ himself. In a heads-up battle against his arch-nemesis Jeff Lisandro, which lasted for about two hours, The Mouth finally triumphed, winning his 3rd WSOP bracelet and taking home a $537,000 first prize.
Event #22, the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. one would be the scene of another dominating Full Tilt performance. Full Tilt pros Jennifer Harman, Steve Zolotow and Jens Voertmann all made it to the final table, where a true power-struggle ensued. Voertmann was the one who got the better of everyone in the end, thus winning his first bracelet and taking home a $298,000 prize.
Another Full Tilt pro-heavy final table would be that of event #24 (the $2,500 PL Holdem/Omaha one). Allen Cunningham and Max Pescatori were both present, with the latter muscling his way through the finish line in 1st. In the heads-up stage, Pescatori faced Kyle Kloeckner, but he had built up a huge chip lead by then, and there was nothing that could stop his march towards his second WSOP bracelet and the $246,000 prize-money.
Event #25 marked another Full Tilt victory. Kenny Tran defeated 256 opponents in that one, thoroughly dominating the final table before winning his first bracelet, and the $540,000 that came with it.
